OpenChord is built with privacy as the default. Every tool runs locally in your browser, so your data stays on your own device.

Microphone

The tuner can use your microphone to detect pitch, but only on your device via the Web Audio API. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Local storage

OpenChord saves only your language preference in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time.

Analytics, cookies & ads

OpenChord has no accounts, no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We do not collect personal information.
